Oliver Sykes Ikut Isi Vokal di Album Baru While She Sleeps. Simak Di Sini.

Pada 21 April kemarin, band metal While She Sleeps merilis labum baru berjudul You Are We. Band asal inggris bentukan 20067 yang terdiri dari Mat Welsh (gitar), Aaran Mckenzie (bass), Sean Long (gitar), Lawrence Taylor (vokalis), dan Adam Savage (drum) menghadirkan kejutan di album ketiganya ini. While She Sleeps mengajak vokalis Bring Me The Horizon, Oliver Sykes, untuk ikut isi vokal.

Sebenernya kabar ini sudah diumumkan Sykes sejak Februari lalu. Lewat Twitter ia mengungkapkan rasa syukurnya sudah bisa ambil bagian di album penting While She Sleeps ini.

Di hari perilisan album, Sykes juga ikut datang ke panggungnya While She Sleeps. Di tengah-tengah lagu Silence Speaks, Sykes yang memakai jeans dan hoodie itu langsung menggebar lagu dengan vokalnya yang sangat khas itu.

Album You Are We ini bisa dibilang sebagai album penting bagi While She Sleeps karena ini adalah album pertamanya yang digarap band secara indie.

“Setelah 10 tahun menghadapi naik-turunnya industri music kami memutuskan untuk melanjutkan perjalanan secara indie dan merilis sendiri album ketiga kami,” tulis band di halaman PledgeMusic. “Semua uang yang terkumpul akan dipakai untuk mendanai pengerjaan album ini, dari artwork, video klip, turd an segalanya untuk mempertahankan band.”

Kerennya lagi, proses rekaman album ini digarap mereka di sebuah studio di Inggris yang sebelumnya adalah gudang.

“Kami butuh setahun untuk membangunnya. Sekarang kami sudah punya studio untuk bekerja. Dan ini sangat menyenangnkan bisa merekam album di tempat di mana kami nggak cuma membuat music, tetapi juga membuat ruang. Ini membawa nuansa positif bagi kami,” kata Mat Welsh. Bahkan, di studio gudang itu ada dapur dan kamar tidur, lho.
