Avenged Sevenfold dan Iron Maiden sukses menggaet piala di Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards. A7X menyabet Best International Band, sementara Iron Maiden meraih Best UK Band.

Selain dua band tersebut, ada Killswitch Engage yang meraih Best Live Band. Ada juga Of Mice & Men yang mendapat penghargaan Breakthrough Artist.

Sementara satu-satunya wakil dari Indonesia, Godless Symptomps gagal di Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards. Mereka dikalahkan Orphaned Land dan Khalas di kategori Global Metal Act.
