'@ugmcantik' Bikin Instagram Live Bermasalah, Narasumber: Mending Kalian Tutup Akun

Live yang pada ujungnya ditunda tersebut diisi oleh narasumber Agnezte, mahasiswi UGM.

Agnezte pun merasa saat dirinya diundang menjadi narasumber, awalnya bukan untuk membahas sexual harassment.

"First off all, aku setuju untuk jadi guest before the term of reference and before ada topik yang tiba-tiba turns out tentang Sexual Harassment," tulisnya dalam klarifikasinya.

"Menurut aku, sexual harassment is a very sensitive topic, and I don't have the background and the capability to talk about this," lanjutnya.

Agnezte juga menyadari, bahasan "sexual harassment" di @ugmcantik dengan dirinya, malah dapat reaksi terbaik dari yang diinginkan.

"I am so aware of this topic and I realized that if I become the speaker in this series, it will somehow potentially spike more audiences to do forms of sexual harassment in social media to me as the subject. I look at the questions that the audiences ask and somehow all of those are questions I don't want to answer," paparnya.

Jempol juga HAI berikan ke Agnezte yang menyadari kalo @ugmcantik sebenarnya adalah wadah sexual harassment.

"Precisely, for me, this account malah memberikan tempat or platform untuk melakukan sexual harassment, especially verbally. Proved from the comment section post yang baru aku liat, there are so many comments yang I do think inappropriate, disrespectful, insulting and humiliating," tulisnya.

Agnezte juga menyarankan untuk @ugmcantik tutup akun.

"And I'm sure I speak on behalf of the people that have been posted here. I don't think this account will ever be a place to spread awareness. The best thing you can do to prevent sexual harassment is to delete this account. Thank you," tutupnya.

Setuju! Akun "nama kampus + cantik/ganteng" memang seharusnya dibasmi.
