Dilansir oleh salah satu situs jual beli mobil bernama carmall.com, inilah daftar mobil-mobil paling populer selama setahun. Diberi nama CarMall Car Buyers Guide 2012-2013, 28 jenis mobil menjadi finalis. Dari situ terpilihlah 12 jawaranya yang dipilih oleh redaksi.

Urusan penilaian, 12 mobil ini dipilih berdasarkan beberapa faktor. Mulai dari harga, desain interior, eksterior, fitur-fitur, performa dan tentunya uji emisi untuk memilih mobil mana yang paling irit. Aturan main lainnya adalah mobil masih diproduksi oleh APM (Agen Pemegang Merk). Dan tentunya nggak ketinggalan akan ada hasil polling. Jumlahnya sekitar 400.000 viewers.
