Jarrod Alexander, Drummer Di Album Baru My Chemical Romance

Setelah memecat Michael Pedicone, posisi drum My Chemical Romance selama ini akhirnya diisi oleh Jarrod Alexander yang nggak lain adalah drummer dari band Death By Stereo. Statusnya memang masih touring member, namun baru-baru ini dirinya didaulat untuk ikut dalam rekaman album baru MCR. Jarrod dinilai sebagai sosok yang menyenangkan dalam membuat musik. Dirinya mempunyai kemampuan layaknya komputer super yang dibutuhkan dalam permainan perang. Dalam sebuah wawancara, Frank Iero sang gitarislah yang memberitakan kabar tersebut.

"Haha, oh my. First thing off the bat, huh? Jarrod is a rad guy and a fantastic player. It's been really fun making music with him these past few months. He loves coffee and hitting drums super-hard... and the fact that he's not a thieving piece of garbage is a breath of fresh air. But since we only had a week's notice to prepare for this show and with scheduling conflicts and all we decided that instead of using a real-live human drummer we are going to use the super computer from War Games instead. However, we have nicknamed the computer Jarrod." Ujar Iero sumringah.

Kini MCR tengah menggarap album terbaru mereka di Los Angeles bersama produser Doug McKean yang sebelumnya telah bekerja sama di album The Black Parade (2006) dan Danger Days : The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys (2010).
