Para nominasi Golden Globe 2012 telah diumumkan kemarin, Kamis (15/12). Beberapa kejutan terjadi seperti film bisu garapan sutradara Michel Hazanavicius, The Artist yang meraih total enam nominasi sekaligus. Terbanyak kedua adalah film tentang perjuangan hak asasi manusia, The Help memborong lima penghargaan.
Begitupula dengan film yang dibintangi George Clooney, The Descendants yang meraih nominasi sama banyaknya dengan The Help. Yang menarik, film sekuel terakhir Harry Potter, Deathly Hollow 2 sama sekali tidak dinomasikan. Padahal, beberapa pengamat setuju kalau film terakhir Harry Potter tersebut setidaknya mampu mengisi satu kategori.
Para peraih nominasi tersebut bakalan dipilih oleh 85 reporter entertainment yang tergabung dalam the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Malam pengehargaannya sendiri akan dilaksanakan pada 15 Januari 2012 atau selang tiga hari setelah nominasi Oscar diumumkan. Berikut daftar para nominasi Golden Globe yang ke 69.
