Lagu Wastelands adalah single ketiga dari album tersebut. Sebelumnya LP merilis single berjudul "Until It's Gone," dan Guilty All The Same.
Di album The Hunting Party, Linkin Park juga mengajak beberapa musisi untuk berkolaborasi. Salah satunya adalah Tom Morello, pemain gitar Rage Against The Machine.
