HAI-Online.com - MTV Movie & TV Awards 2019 baru aja digelar pada Senin (17/06) waktu setempat. Ajang penghargaan untuk dunia film dan televisi ini dimeriahkan sama Zachary Levi sebagai host, dan banyak aktor dan aktris favorit.
Di tahun ini, Avengers: Endgame dan Game of Thrones mendominasi perolehan nominasi dengan masing-masing memiliki 4 kategori.
Hasilnya, masing-masing membawa pulang 1 penghargaan, Endgame untuk best movie, dan Game of Thrones untuk best show.

Selain itu, film dokumenter nominasi Oscars, RBG, juga meraih 4 nominasi. Tapi sayangnya kalah di perebutan gelar best documentary sama Surviving R. Kelly.
Selain kategori-kategori lama, ajang tahun ini juga punya beberapa kategori baru. Kayak reality royalty yang dimenangkan Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta. Ada juga meme-able moment yang dimenangkan The Bachelor. Dan best real life hero yang diraih sama Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Kategori best real life hero ini jadi kategori tambahan untuk tradisi baru ajang ini yang dimulai pada 2017 lalu. Yaitu nggak adanya pemisahan nominasi berdasarkan gender. Selain itu, Dwayne Johnson dianugerahi dengan Generation Award. Dan Jada Pinkett Smith berhasil membawa pulang Trailblazer Award.
